|My name is Stephanie Mikel. I graduated from Arkansas Tech University and have been teaching for twenty years. Before coming to the Russellville School District to teach elementary music, I was a band director for fifteen years in Texas and Arkansas. Some of my favorite things in life are sharing my love of music with others, spending time travelling, and hanging out with my family.|
|My name is Karin Cude. I am married and have two sons. I graduated with my Bachelor's and Master's degree from University of Central Arkansas. I taught kindergarten and first grade at Guy-Perkins Elementary and Florence Mattison Elementary for 6 years in Conway. I taught Concepts of Fitness and Elementary PE at the University of Central Arkansas for 9 years. I have been teaching PE at Dwight and London Elementary Schools since 2007. Out of all that I have taught, this is by far my favorite. I enjoy running, reading, Zumba, and spending time with my family.|
My name is Shanna Couser, and I am so excited to teach your children this year! I graduated from Texas Christian University and have been teaching for 33 years. I taught 11 years in Fort Worth, Texas before coming to Russellville, AR. I have taught fourteen years in first grade, eight as the science lab facilitator, and am now the Interventionist for Dwight. I love to listen to music and be outside in nature.
My name is Margie Huckabay. I have been teaching since 1999. I love my job teaching art to K-4 students at Dwight and London Elementary. My two year old granddaughter, Blakely loves to paint at my house. Art is a big part of my life and both of my daughters are creatives and enjoy making things. I have been married to the love of my life for thirty-two years. We enjoy traveling and seeing new things, the outdoors, and playing with Blakely.
|My name is Kristin Mengis. Life is never boring when you work with the Russellville School District, serve as the Children's Director at your church, and study as a full-time seminary student. When I'm not teaching, ministering, and learning, Reading, writing, and playing on my electronic devices usually fill up my free time. I do not have a family of my own, but I am blessed with a school and church family whose love and support encourage me to keep pursuing God's plans for me. I'm not sure what the future holds, but I'm excited to find out!|
My name is Karen Hilburn. I have been the Reading Recovery Teacher at Dwight Elementary since 2009. Before that I was a Speech Therapist with the District for eighteen years. I am also certified to teach grades first through sixth.
My name is Renee King and I have been a Speech Language Pathologist since 1996. Prior to working in the Russellville School District, I was employed by the Arch Ford Cooperative. I am married and have two sons. I enjoy camping, fishing, and boating.
My name is Julieanne Hilton. I have been teaching since 2000. I have a Master's Degree in Teaching, Learning, and Leadership, and I am also a National Board Certified Teacher. I am certified to teach Pre-K through eighth grade, and I am currently pursuing a K-12th grade certification in ESL instruction. I am the Instructional Facilitator/Science Specialist at Dwight. I enjoy spending time with my two children, playing the piano and violin, and reading in my spare time.
|My name is Michael Pennington. I'm a river valley native. I'm a Russellville High School and Arkansas Tech graduate. I also studied Spanish at the Centro de Idiomas in Leon, Spain. I spent my college summers working as a guide and trip leader on the Ocoee river outside of Chattanooga, TN. I grew up with a deaf sister, so I know sign language. I was an interpreter for my sister as a child, so helping kids understand has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I love helping new students feel comfortable and confident in learning English. I'm married to my college sweetheart, Judy Pennington. We have two children together, Neva who is four and Clark who is sixteen months. I love outdoor recreation like kayaking, rafting, hiking, camping, fishing, and hunting. I also enjoy singing and playing music with my guitar.|

I am a National Board Certified Teacher and have degrees in Early Childhood, ESL, and Administration. I have two boys in Russellville schools and my wife works for the district as a Speech Language Pathologist. My family has been involved in the community through sports, charity, and church. I love the outdoors and spend as much time as I can in His creation. I am looking forward to meeting you and serving your children. Together we can open a world of opportunities!|
|My name is Luann Colling. I have been teaching since 1975. I have taught preschool, elementary and middle school classes. Currently I teach writing, reading and math to a variety of grades. My favorite subject is math. I have been married to my husband Bob for 33 years. We have lived in Arkansas, Texas and Mississippi. We have two children, Katherine and Spencer (Kaleena) and a grandbaby. I have a cute little dog named Tilly and 3 cats, Queso, Big and Chloe. My hobbies are gardening, and canning pickles, tomatoes and hot peppers. |
