The art program at RIS is designed to reach all students and provide them with a means for creativity and self-expression. While adhering to the Arkansas State Standards for the Arts, instruction is based on the art and artists of North America and the Elements of Art and the Principles of Design. Students are engaged in activities that teach them a wide range of techniques and allow them to explore many different types of mediums.
