We are excited to announce that second grader Luisa Castro is Dwight's Student of the Month for October. Here is what second grade teacher Mrs. Kelley had to say about Luisa:
Luisa Castro is responsible by working extra hard to improve in all subject areas. She is respectful of teachers, other students, and school rules/procedures. I have seen her play with and help kindergarten kids on our shared recess, clean up without being asked in the classroom, and ask to help me almost everyday. Luisa follows our class contract and tries to help others follow her example. She is a joy to work with and I am thankful to be her teacher.
