Our December Student of the Month is Sydney Abbott! She is a 9th grader and she was nominated by Ronda Khamsourivong! Here is what Ronda had to say about Sydney: "She is absolutely precious. She is one of the most caring and giving students I have ever known. She goes above and beyond with her schoolwork and dance. She would do anything for anyone. She is a kind soul and I am so blessed to have gotten to know her over the last 2 years."
Our December Employee of the Month is Stacie Burnett! Mrs. Burnett is a Special Education teacher and was nominated by Cindy Broadhead and Cindy Williams. Here is what they had to say: "Stacie has a gift of breaking down concepts to make sure her students understand. She pushes them and refuses to give up on them. She shows up with a smile on her face and does whatever needs to be done, whether it's her job role or not. Stacie is a safe space for so many of our students; sometimes it may just be a hug or advice that they need, but she's always there for them. She has one of the kindest hearts and a special ability to make the students feel seen and heard. RJHS will not be the same without her and I want everyone to know how wonderful she truly is. I have had the opportunity to watch her grow into such an amazing teacher and one who truly makes a difference to those around her. She is a motivator who can talk even the most unwilling into completing a task. She is 100% deserving!"
