Russellville High School Placed on College Board's Advanced Placement School Honor Roll
RUSSELLVILLE Ark. - Russellville High School has earned a place on the College Board's Advanced Placement (AP) School Honor Roll for the 2022-23 school year. The AP School Honor Roll recognizes the schools who have done great work in supporting students on their path to college success and made great strides to engage more students in Advanced Placement courses.
Dr. Ginni McDonald, RSD Superintendent commented, “I am very proud to see RHS earn this recognition. RHS is a great place for students to learn and prepare for their careers after high school. Go Cyclones!”
This is the first time RHS has earned a place on the AP Honor Roll since 2018. Over the last 5 years, there has been a great increase in college credits earned by Russellville High School students and a total 21% increase in AP participation.
“Our students have done an excellent job of taking advantage of and excelling in the educational opportunities our school provides,” commented Mr. Brad Ray, RHS Principal.
Student opportunities in the Russellville School District reach further than college opportunities. In partnership with the Arkansas Tech Career Center and the addition of career pathways like sports medicine and agriculture business, students in the Russellville School District have an abundance of opportunities to prepare for life after graduation.
