“Valentina was the lifeline in helping me build a connection to the rest of my ELA class. She translated in perfect English what her classmates needed to communicate. Her leadership in the classroom made the rest of the students feel safe and heard. Valentina is a model student and a diligent worker. Even though she sometimes struggles with self-doubt, she has overcome so much in her life that has led her to RJHS and fueled her determination to succeed—not only at RSD but in America as a whole.”
